About Us
Central Youth Football offers grade-based football for students from Kindergarten through 8th grade who live within the Hunterdon Central Regional High School (HCRHS) sending district—including Delaware Township, East Amwell Township, Flemington Borough, Raritan Township, and Readington Township.

As the exclusive feeder program to Hunterdon Central High School’s football team, Central Youth Football plays a vital role in developing the next generation of Red Devils athletes. Whether your child is learning the game for the first time or preparing for high school competition, Central Youth Football provides the foundation for success—on and off the field.

We are proud to compete in the New Jersey Suburban Youth Football League (NJSYFL)—a respected and inclusive league focused on safety, development, and community spirit.

Our League and Legacy
Central Youth Football proudly participates in the New Jersey Suburban Youth Football League (NJSYFL), a New Jersey-based organization established in 1972. The league was created to make football inclusive, safer, and fun for all players.
The NJSYFL offers:
-
Flag Football: Kindergarten through 2nd grade
-
Tackle Football: Separate grade-based teams for 3rd through 8th grade
-
Season Format: A minimum of 8 regular season games, with at least 4 played at the Hunterdon Central Stewart Football Field
Grade-based placement ensures that every athlete plays with peers of the same school year, supporting safer, more balanced competition. The league also creates a spirited game day environment that includes football players, cheerleaders, families, and fans from across our community.

We’re proud to be part of a league that shares our commitment to teamwork, integrity, and youth development.
